French songwriter and multi-instrumentalist HALO MAUD is the latest signing to join the Heavenly Recordings family, the home of a whole host of weird a wonderful psychedelic pop bands including: Gwenno, King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizarrd, Fever The Ghost, Amber Arcades and The Orielles. Her Heavenly debut, 'Baptism' appeared earlier this year on her first EP Du Pouvoir, which came out back in March. It's now been given a colourful new video directed by the Parisian collective, Deezooit (pronounced like the French “dix-huit”), who set to work on executing HALO MAUD's vision of “something like a ballet of mysterious, determined, somewhat magical women warriors living in communion with nature.” Check out the magical clip and track here now. -HLMX
